We have heard it called all kinds of things bubbles, recession, correction and a host of other names are used to describe our current market condition, how about normal? The past several years have broken more tradition in the real estate industry than in the past, the uphill ride was longer than in the past but now we are normal. Homes in a normal market don't sell in a week  or less, in a normal market just because your home is on the market for 2 weeks , 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, 120 days that is the market. Are we there to stay, the spring will be the best indicator to see if we stay in a normal market go back to a sellers market or fall into a really bad market, which I don't think will happen although I've lived through them.
If you have lived in your home for 4-5 years or more, and have been thinking about making a move, this is your time! You should be looking at your possibilities and making that move before the market returns. If you are a first time home buyer its your time also. Granted its is harder to buy and sell but with an agent experienced in market shifts you can make a great real estate transaction now, possibly better than waiting depending on the details of your unique situation.
